Welcome to The Highland Classic Motorcycle Club Website.
The club was founded in 1983 by a group of classic motorcycle enthusiasts to encourage the use and repair/restoration of classic motorcycles and three-wheelers. Forty two years on and we are still going strong with over 120 members.
You don’t need to own a classic motorcycle to join the club – you just need to be interested in motorcycles / classic motorcycles or three wheelers over 15 years old to apply for membership.
The club holds monthly meetings at 8.00pm on the first Tuesday of each month (excluding January) in the Chieftain Hotel, Inverness. If you are interested, just come along as we are a friendly bunch who welcome like-minded enthusiasts to join us.
In addition to the monthly meetings, club runs are arranged from February to November; we also have shorter runs for older or smaller capacity bikes. Most years we also have a weekend away – in September this year we had our weekend based in Aberfeldy.
The biggest event we hold is the Loch Ness Rally which usually attracts over 100 pre-war to modern classic motorcycle entrants from all over the country – and sometimes from overseas!
Details of all our events can be found in the Calendar section on the website.
So, if you like riding, repairing, restoring, or even just talking about bikes please do get in touch with our membership officer Dode Fraser whose contact details are on the membership form.
Stay safe,
Andrew Chatterton,
Chairman,
