Welcome to The Highland Classic Motorcycle Club Website.

The club was founded in 1983 by a group of motorcycle enthusiasts to encourage the use and repair/restoration of classic bikes and three-wheelers. Forty years on and we are still going strong!

You don’t need to own a classic bike to join the club – you just need to be interested in motorcycles or three wheelers over 15 years old to apply for membership.

The club holds monthly meetings at 8.00pm on the first Tuesday of each month (excluding January) in the Chieftain Hotel, Inverness. If you are interested, just come along as we are a friendly bunch who welcome like-minded enthusiasts to join us.

In addition to the monthly meetings, club runs are arranged from March to November; we also have shorter runs for older or smaller capacity bikes. Most years we also have a weekend away – in September 2024 we went off to the Isle of Bute.

The biggest event we hold is the Loch Ness Rally which usually attracts about 100 entrants from all over the country – and sometimes from overseas!

Details of all our events can be found in the Calendar section on the website.

So, if you like riding, repairing, restoring, or even just talking about old bikes please do get in touch with our membership officer, Dode Fraser, hcmcmemberships@gmail.com

Stay safe,

Andrew Chatterton,
