Chairmans Challenge.
The Chairmans Challenge for 2026 will be village, town or city signs showing that they are twinned with another overseas location.
Example - Dull Perth & Kinross twinned with Boring Oregon USA & Bland NSW Australia.
Rules:
1. Only members of the HCMC are eligible to take part in the Chair’s Challenge.
2. All the the locations can be anywhere in Scotland including the islands and only one photo considered for each location.
3. Start date of Chair’s Challenge is 1st of March.
4. Finish date of Chair’s Challenge is 31st October.
5. Each photograph you submit must include your bike – or three wheeler - with the subject clearly visible and include a note of where and when the picture was taken.
6. All motorcycles – or three wheelers – are eligible to take part in the Chair’s Challenge. Machines under 15 years old will be awarded 1 point for each eligible photograph submitted and machines over 15 years old will be awarded 2 points for each eligible photograph.
7. Your photographs must be made available to the Chair after the 31st October and before the 23rd November. (The easiest way to do this is to make up a private album on Facebook, then, when the competition is finished, change it to public and share the link to the album with the Chair for judging).
8. The Chair’s decision on the eligibility of submitted photographs is final.
9. You are responsible for ensuring your actions are safe and legal and they do not bring the good name of the club into disrepute.
All members who submit relevant photos will recieve an award.
There is a club awards plaque for member who achieves the highest number of points.
